Foundations: Basic concepts
Hi! I’m Kieran, the überdog here at CoreDogs.
I’ll lead you through the lessons.
Two other dogs will be joining us. CC…
...and Renata.
They’re learning, too.
The first book – Foundations – is short. It explains how Web browsers and Web servers work together, creating the pages people see when they visit your Web site.
You should read this book before going on to the others.
We’ll only talk about the core, that is, the most important things. A lot of detail will be left out. But that’s OK. Once you get the basic framework, you can fill in the details later, if you want to know more.
Don’t be worried if you get confused sometimes. Everyone is confused at first.
But what should I do if I get confused?
There’s a help page about that. Have a look.
